CLEAR AIR

 PRE-PROJECT

DEVELOPMENT:

Active carbon filter and germicidal lamp. To control odors, toxic gases, smoke, microbial presence. [1] [2]

Annex in CONCLUSIONS aesthetic complements, utilities and personal opinions on the internal design.

I. GENERAL INFORMATION.

1.1. ECONOMIC ACTIVITY OF INFLUENCE:

1. Food safety.

2. Health and social welfare.

3. Sustainable environmental technology.

4. Competitiveness and industrial diversification.

1.2. PLACES WHERE IT APPLIES:

Home, office and shops.

Places of risk to health such as hospital rooms and clinics (No therapy, no sterilization area).

1.3. PROJECT LOCALIZATION:

The focus is on a problem that, although historical like air pollution, is on the rise. Added to new and cyclical situations such as the appearance of viruses such as H1N1 and Covid-19.-

II. DESCRIPTION OF THE INNOVATION OR APPLIED RESEARCH.

2.1. JUSTIFICATION:

TROUBLE:

Several regions of Argentina and Latin American countries like Brazil have forest fires and industries near cities.

The population increase and the demand for economic resources such as the increase in areas of cultivation or livestock. Even the political dispute causes the spread of these fires.

Homes, industries, businesses, hospitals must adapt their facilities to these types of challenges.

The adverse effects are innumerable, but the most significant have to do with the quality of life and the negative consequences that may exist on human health. [3. 4]

In the same way, there is a growing demand for food such as pigs [5] which leads to an increase in production and breeding, which leads to epidemiological leaps between species. Generating pandemics worldwide. Latin American countries are not excluded from the problem. [6]

2.2. REFERENTIAL FRAME:

We have three elements: 1- UV-C lamp or led (185nm <wavelength <254nm); 2- UV-A / B lamp or LED for ozone decomposition (230 <wavelength <320nm) and 3- Open-cell Polyurethane Filter soaked in Active Carbon.

If we see the antecedents of applied technologies. The low-pressure UV lamp is only capable of producing lines at 185nm and 254nm.

Ultraviolet dose. UV dose is the product of UV intensity (expressed as energy per unit surface area) and residence time.

This is commonly expressed as 1mJ / cm2 = 1000 micro Watt seconds / cm2 or in the same way 1 mW / cm2 = 10 J / (s.m2). [7]

In the article cited from the journal Nature we see that "for the first time that far UVC effectively inactivates aerosol viruses in air, with a very low dose of 2 mJ / cm2 of 222 nm that inactivates light> 95% of the virus of influenza H1N1 in aerosol. Continuous ultra-low-dose far UVC light in indoor public places is a promising, safe and inexpensive tool to reduce the spread of airborne microbial diseases. " [2]

On the other hand. UV-C light has been used for years in operating rooms around the world. It causes the inactivation of microorganisms by acting on their DNA and RNA chains. The sun emits UV rays at different wavelengths, the C found in the range of 200-280 nm is filtered by the ozone layer. That is why it is worth noting the importance of NO EXPOSURE to it by animals or people since it can cause skin and eye injuries.

Its operation allows to eliminate the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes the COVID-19 disease in a short period of time. Enabling the immediate reuse of high circulation spaces in places such as hospitals, laboratories, meeting rooms, hotels, banks, among others. [8]

In the case of activated carbon filters, they remove significantly more pollutants from the air than conventional filters, but there are some distinctions. Some filters contain more activated carbon than others, which can affect the ability to remove impurities. The more activated carbon in a filter, the more pollutants it will capture and the faster it will adsorb. Also, high levels of activated carbon increase filter life. It will require fewer replacements and will continue to blow fresh air for longer. Another factor that influences the filtration rate is the size of the activated carbon particles. [9]

We must take into account the production of Ozone by the use of a UV-C lamp or LED.

Citing that “ozone is naturally present in the atmosphere, specifically in the stratosphere, at a distance of between 15 and 50 km from the Earth's surface. There it forms the ozone layer, which protects living beings on the planet from UV radiation, since it adsorbs most of this radiation, preventing it from reaching the earth's surface. In the stratosphere, ozone is formed as a consequence of the incidence of solar radiation with a wavelength <240nm on molecular oxygen and it is decomposed, also photochemically, by the action of UV radiation with a wavelength between 230-320nm. [10]

The aim is to combine various existing technologies and knowledge in a practical and economical way. On the one hand, having a container where the design plays an important role in filtering the air of particles in one stage (since microbial contamination increases its coverage in them), then attacking them with UV-C radiation (doing so in a way that produces a reflux of air, that's where the design comes into play), in the final stage dissociating the ozone molecules that are not necessary for disinfection and carry a health risk. This is why UV-A / B radiation is used in the final stage.

This combination of elements is what I believe does not exist in an economical and integrated way in the market. Efficiency and considerably accessible costs for a mass consumer good.

2.3. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

- The problem.

Today the environment has an increasing pollution of particles of all kinds, from smoke by burning, particles of earth, industrial vapors, bacteria, viruses and this seems to be a small list of events of daily life.

- Solution.

In part we are going to have to generate in our homes, offices, gyms, industries, hospitals a more friendly environment with our organisms and for that the ENVIRONMENT CLEANER is an immediate, imperceptible and low-cost solution that improves the quality of lifetime.

- The methodology.

The method is simple. Based on the few components that it carries and their versatility, taking into account the design, there are ample possibilities to draw on suppliers of different types, respecting the general parameters of the project. Design, list of suppliers for the acquisition of materials, assembly, quality control of the system, field evaluation, sale in segments. There are three basic configurations available.

- The activity plans.

The plan is determined by the pilot test of the Debugger -1.0- in all stages and registering the model within a Startup is a practical option. Since the AMBIENT CLEANER like any Air Purifier requires service

maintenance technician as lights like activated carbon have a shelf life. In the case of Active Carbon, it is around 6 months and in the case of Lamps or Led, the manufacturer's technical specifications regarding their use are detailed by default.

- Conclusions.

An ENVIRONMENT CLEANER is the future of undoubtedly the number one and most efficient protective barrier available against air pollution by unwanted particles and microorganisms. So, a massification of different models and manufacturers is expected without any doubt. How this segment is managed is vitally important for long-term profits and positive results.

- Beneficiaries.

Data “according to the IEA. There are currently 1.6 billion air conditioners installed in buildings around the world. In 2050, this number will increase to 5.6 billion devices. For the next 30 years, globally, an air conditioner will be sold every 10 seconds. " [eleven]

One of the configurations of the project can be those of integrated air conditioning the perspectives are wide.

That is why it is also necessary. Take into account the energy system to supply the ENVIRONMENT CLEANER. And the most explored sources are wind and solar energy. Renewable energy sources are attached. [12]

III. ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF THE PROJECT.

COST

to decide how much money will be required for replication or massification is necessary

ask yourself the following:

• Will I do it alone or will I need to work with other people?

• Will I need materials, which ones and how many?

• will I need a machine?

• Will I need to move to another place to do my experiments?

When these questions have been answered, the next thing is to know the price of what is needed. if it is not known, it is necessary to investigate who has it and how much they charge.

To know the total cost, the sum of the prices obtained must be made.

IV. SUPPORT OF THE MARKET.

4.1. EXPECTED SCOPE OF THE PROJECT.

With the ENVIRONMENT CLEANER. A global solution is proposed in a multi-spatial way. With greater or lesser effect depending on the region, it is interesting to project on three continents.

4.2. DESCRIPTION OF THE TARGET MARKET (REAL OR POTENTIAL) OF THE INNOVATIVE PRODUCT, SERVICE OR FORM OF MARKETING.

The main characteristics of a market are the type of market, the products or services offered, its size and its actors (customers, suppliers, distributors, influencers). Each of these characteristics must be ascertained using information sources such as statements from company executives that are in the market, studies carried out by the Ministry of Production, or other entities such as unions, associations, chambers of commerce, etc.

For example:

• Influencers: they are the media, artists, radio broadcasters.

• Types of clients: the organizers of different types of events.

• Service consumers: people who want and can buy tickets to events.

• Distributors: ticket sales companies.

• Suppliers: companies that sell products or provide services to those who sell.

4.3. ESTIMATION OF THE POTENTIAL DEMAND IN THE MARKET / SEGMENT YOU ARE LOOKING TO ENTER.

• THERE ARE GERMICIDAL LED PRODUCTS IN THE 254NM UV-C RANGE TO BE A REFERENCE IN LED POWER AND CAPACITY.

It is to establish the approximate number of units of the product or service that, as a maximum, could be sold multiplied by its price.

Calculate the number of people who would like to use the new product, process or service, and then multiply it by the number of products they would use.

Finally, if the product will be sold, multiply this number by the price at which it will be sold.

4.4. DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS MODEL WITH WHICH THE INNOVATION OR RESEARCH APPLIED WOULD ENTER THE MARKET BASED ON THE FOLLOWING PARAMETERS.

The description of the business model is the explanation of how an organization

create, distribute and add value with the proposal. To describe a new model

The following parts should be considered:

a) Value proposition:

• What value will we deliver to the customer?

• Which of our client's problems will we solve?

• What need of our client do we satisfy?

b) Sources of income:

• Why will our future customers be willing to pay?

• Why are they currently paying?

• How are they currently paying?

• How would you prefer to pay?

c) Distribution channels:

• How do my clients prefer to be contacted?

• Which one works best?

• What is the cheapest?

d) Market penetration strategy:

• How will you get people to purchase the product, process or service?

• Will physical or virtual advertising be used?

• Will it be sold to intermediaries?

• Will there be a partner who sells to the target audience and who can

help us reach it?

e) Own and external productive activities:

• What activities are necessary to give the value proposition?

• What actions will be carried out to sell the product?

• What activities will be done to interact with the client?

• What activities will be carried out to obtain income?

f) Alliances:

• Who will be our most important suppliers?

• Who will help us in our most important activities (selling,

interact with the customer, etc.)?

V. CONCLUSIONS / Development.

• Cooler / Fan. (direct to 220-230v) or (Source to solar or wind cell)

• Led / Lamp x2.

• Card, components, program.

• Open-cell polyurethane filter with activated carbon.

• Power source that can be renewable energy or direct to the power outlet.

• Accessories such as screws, etc ...

SECOND STAGE

• Tools that are needed.

•n/a.

• Machines for manufacturing in the event that suppliers do not meet the requirements. If you want to make the filters.

THIRD STAGE

•Market study. Or similar data USA-BR-ARG-TWN-EU.

• Registration of the Startup and times (The Start Up have special legislation that reduces registration times and the investment is minimal. The legislation provides for a public limited company). [13]

• Patents: In a first stage it is only necessary to patent the internal design if it is necessary to make a turbulence model. Free software.

• Pilot test models with budget for three regions and three models.

• Time it would take to recover the investment.

• Translation into Portuguese and English.

Note: A personal opinion is that although the utility is indisputable, the function in relation to the price, low maintenance and insertion in homes to replace traditional air conditioners in the long run could work from the most basic models working strong in design and other utilities within the home automation segment. So, I am going to mention some: measurement of temperature, humidity, time, alarms, emergency light and leave open the possibility to others functions that in an office or home can be useful. Also, the use of solar or wind cells for power in the case of more ecological models.

You can also work on recycled materials. Or in the reception of used components making a loop in the production circuit.
